Tam Beauty Haul

Here it is; my Tam Beauty haul. There are a lot of products in this haul mostly because I got the Revoholic box (£30) and if you spent £30 you got £25 worth of stuff for free. So I'm going to keep this intro short and get straight into it.

Starting with the first item from the Revoholic box is the Makeup Revolution Flawless Unlimited palette. All the shades in this palette are so pretty and there are a lot of them, there are so many looks you could create with this. I cant find this one on the site now, but it may be available somewhere else or come back at some point.

Next is the Makeup Revolution Flawless 4 palette which has more warmer tones than the Flawless Unlimited palette. I love warm tones because they go great with my blue eyes. Again, so many pretty colours and both the Flawless palettes also have a huge mirror. This one is available on the Tam Beauty website for £8.

This palette I think is exclusive with the Revoholic box because it is the Revoholic Limited Palette. It has eyeshadows on the left and highlighters on the right. The eyeshadow shades are all very dark but still nice and the highlighters are really pretty and give an amazing glow.

Next up is the Makeup Revolution Blush Palette which has 8 lovely shades of blush and is the Celestial Blush palette. The shades are all pink and vary from light to dark which is nice because I can choose the best shades for me. They are all quite shimmery and some of them have a kind of marble effect which is nice. I can't find this one on the site either, but there is a similar one on there for £6.

This is the Makeup Revolution Ultra Pro Glow highlighting palette. It has eight beautiful shimmery shades perfect to get a great glow. I will probably use the lighter shades mostly as I'm quite pale, but they are all pretty colours. This is on the Tam Beauty website for £8.

Next up is the Luxury Banana Powder this was actually shortlisted for the Pure Beauty Awards 2017. It does look like it will be too dark for my pale skin, but we'll give it a try and see. This is on the site for £5.

The last thing that was in the Revoholic box is these beautiful Limited Edition brushes. They are all full size, soft makeup brushes. I love the pink tips and the rose gold on them. These are not available to buy anymore but Tam Beauty have a range of amazing brushes for really good prices.

The first item I got for free was this Freedom Pro Glow Purr highlighter which looks so cool. I love the pattern and the colours are really nice and blend together to make a really pretty highlighter shade. This is available for just £3.50 on the Tam Beauty website.

This is the Makeup Revolution Skin Kiss Rose Gold Kiss Highlighter and its such a pretty shade. Its also really big so its going to last me a long time and its nice and shimmery. Its available on the Tam Beauty website for £5.

Next is the Makeup Revolution My Sign Capricorn Complete Eye Wheel. This little thing has 3 shimmery eyeshadows, an eye primer, 2 eyebrow shades and a highlighter. I think this is ideal for travelling because its small and has several products in it. This product is £5 on Tam Beauty but right now its actually on offer for just £3.25!

I also got this little Freedom eyeshadow in the shade Smoulder which is such a pretty dark green/grey colour. I cant find this one on the site but they have similar ones for just £1.

This is the Makeup Revolution Sunlight Mood Lights Gradient Highlighter and its amazing. You can choose how light or dark you want the colour and its really shimmery and so pretty. This is available on the site for £4 but right now its on offer for just £1.20!

Next is the Freedom Pro Blush Bronze & Baked Palette. This gorgeous palette has both blushers and highlighters in lovely shades. It also has a nice big mirror and is available for £6 or right now its on offer for just £3.90.

I also got the Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lacquer in the shade Black Heart. Its much darker than the lip products I normally use but I'm excited to give it a go. It costs £3 but its currently on offer for just 90p!

This is the I Heart Makeup Lip Geek Lipstick in the shade Baby Doll. Its a really pretty light pink shade and the packaging is super cute too. I cant find this one on the site unfortunately.

Finally, the Freedom Pro Red Lipstick in the shade Expression. I don't wear reds very often but I really love this colour and I'm going to try to be brave enough to wear it if I can. Again, another one I cant find on the site but there are lots of lipsticks to choose from on there.

I kept all my captions short because there was so much stuff and gave prices for the things I could find on the site. Tam Beauty has so much amazing makeup for really affordable prices, if you're interested in having a look then click here for their website.

Makeup, Makeup, Makeup

This post is a little late because I've been busy lately. But I have a few makeup bits that I got recently and I thought id share what I got with you. There are quite a few things so ill be as brief as I can about each thing.

First up is this set I got from Barry M. I actually ordered this before Christmas but it arrived in January so its in this post. I got the whole lot for £10! It was such a bargain, I actually had no idea what was in it when I ordered it but I'm really happy. There is 2 palettes; one lip palette and one with bronzer, blush and highlight. Two tinted lip balms, two Gelly Hi Shine lip products, 4 nail polishes, 2 nail art pens and the makeup bag. All the shades are so pretty and I got so much for just £10! I love Barry M nail polishes, but I haven't used much of their makeup so I'm excited to try some of it out.

I use this app called Influencer and through that I got sent these two full size Marc Jacobs Highliners which are matte gel eye crayons. I got one in the shade Earthquake which is a brown shade and one in Deja Blue which is a pretty blue shade. I have tried out the brown one and I really love it! It is a great colour and glides on so easily, it also blends well so it gives a soft line rather than a harsh one. These retail at about £20 each but they are really amazing.

I had been wanting one of these highlighters for so long but it was always sold out in Superdrug whenever I went looking for it. But I finally got it this month. Its the I Heart Makeup Unicorns Heart highlighter and it is so pretty. It's a rainbow highlighter and it comes in this cute heart shaped box. It gives the most amazing glow and you can see the colours but not in a hash bright way, in a soft and subtle way. It is gorgeous and I've been using it loads since I got it. Plus its only £4.99 at Superdrug.

These last two products were actually a Christmas present from my friend Amy but I didn't get to see her till January. She got me this amazing Sleek set which included the Matte Me Metallic lip cream as you can see above. Its such a pretty shade and I've been loving metallic lip products lately (thanks to my friend Lish who got me a set of NYX lip products for Christmas).

The set also included this highlighting palette which is actually one of my ultimate favourite highlighting palettes ever! Its the Solstice palette and the shades are so damn pretty and I cannot wait to use them, even though right now its my spare as I already have this palette but it's nearing the end of its use so ill be onto this one soon.

That's all for this makeup haul, but I recently got a load of makeup from Tam Beauty so I'll be doing a post about that as soon as I can. There are too many things I got from there to put in this post so it will have its own post. Keep an eye out for that. I will also be posting a sort of boo review soon, I say review but its more of a rant about my opinions on the book, so look out for that too.

What I Achieved In 2017

I know we're now 17 days into 2018, but I realised I haven't made any kind of 2017 post so I figured I would finally do one. I thought about doing a New Years Resolutions post but I feel like I always do one of those. I tried making one of my favourite memories but when I started uploading photos for it half of them didn't upload so I kind of gave up on that idea. So I decided I'd write about some of my achievements in 2017 instead. I didn't achieve a lot last year but it was a pretty good year for me in general.

First of all I got into my first proper serious relationship. I met a guy called Ben way back in January last year and there were sparks instantly. We started dating and the rest is history. He's made me so happy over the past year and I'm so glad to have him in my life. It was a big achievement because I'd bounced around a bit between guys the year before and I was worried I'd never be with someone longer than a month. But as fate would have it I managed to find Ben and we've now been together nearly a year.

I had some problems through the year as well of course, a lot of which involved some girls talking behind my back. I managed to cut them out of my life as much as possible last year which is pretty difficult because they are friends with my friends, but I do my best. My life has been a lot more drama free since then and I am a lot happier. I'm trying to put it in the past and move on with my life. But managing to mostly ignore them and stop talking to them the best I could was a major achievement for me because in the past I've been a pushover and just let people walk all over me but last year I decided I was done with that.

I started volunteering at a charity shop at the end of last year and I know its not a full time paid job but its one step closer to that. I will also be able to use them as a reference and its good experience too. It will make me feel a lot more confident when I am ready for a full time job and I wont be jumping into full time work. I have recently suffered with a panic attack to do with this job, but the people there are really nice and supportive about it so I feel as though I'm not under as much pressure as I would be with a regular full time job. I am really proud of myself for pushing myself to start working there because its getting me to meet new people and do new things which will really help in the long run.

Last year I also managed to go out more, which sounds kind of silly but in previous years I've had difficulty going out too often because of my anxiety and depression. I went out a lot with my boyfriend of course and with his friends sometimes and also with my friends. I do wish I'd seen my own friends more but I'll try to see them more this year. I managed to go clubbing quite a few times too which is good because its a pretty crowded place to go so it sparks up my anxiety often. I've met a lot of new people too thanks to Ben and I've handled that really well so I'm pretty proud of myself for that too.

Makeup Haul

Over the past month I have purchased some new makeup, thanks to the sales. So I thought I would show you what I got recently and tell you about them.

First up is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. This was the only Naked palette I didn't have and so when I saw it in the sale I just had to get it. All the colours are so pretty and easy to blend especially with the brush it comes with. It has lots of pink shades and some darker colours which are good for a smokey look. I love all the Naked palettes so much and I'm really glad I finally have this one in my collection.

I got this Stila Eyes Are The Window eyeshadow palette in the Stila sale which was half price. The colours are all so sparkly and look amazing. I'd never used Stila eyeshadow before I got this palette but now that I have I want more because I love this.

I actually bought this before Christmas but I didn't talk about it before because I also got one for my friend for Christmas but it was the LA one and I got myself the London one. Its a NYX city set which has a matte lip cream, four eyeshadows, a highlighter and a blush. The lip colour is really nice and isn't too dry for a matte lip product. The eyeshadow colours are pretty and create a really nice look, the blusher is a lovely shade and the highlighter gives a nice subtle glow.

Lastly, I got some Tanya Burr makeup in the sale. I got the advent calendar and lip duo set. The matte lip duo set had two colours; Santa's Little Helper and Blackberry Fudge which are both amazing. In the advent calendar there was 3 lip-glosses in the shades Pink Fondant, Ice Queen and Cranberry Melt. There was also 3 nail polishes in the colours Festive Red, Glitter Rain and Glitter Frosting. There were two glitter eyeliners; one gold and one silver. Also there was two glitter post in silver and white, a nail file and a mirror. I was really happy with all the things I got in the calendar, I think it was well worth the money I paid for it.

That's all for now, I'm pretty sure I'll have another makeup haul post soon so keep an eye out for that.

Christmas

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas, I know its now been over a week since said day but I haven't had a chance to post until now. I figured id tell you a bit about my Christmas and show you some of the amazing gifts I received.

I spent Christmas day with just my parents and my sister, then my grandparents came over in the afternoon too. My parents got me this amazing ted Baker makeup gift set which I picked out and all the stuff is rose gold and so pretty. I haven't actually used any of it yet but I'm really looking forward to using it. I don't have a very big family so we saw everyone over 3 days, my aunts on one day, my dads parents on Christmas day and everyone else on boxing day.

My parents also got me this amazing bag from Oriflame which I picked out. Its so beautiful! It's red velvet and is the perfect size for me. I got so many amazing gifts from my family including an Ed Sheeran t shirt from my aunt for me to wear when I go and see him in June. I loved spending time with all my family and having a laugh. We still have loads of Christmas food left which we're trying to get through.

I saw my boyfriend on the 22nd and 23rd for our Christmas and I cooked for him and we exchanged presents. It was really nice because I'd never had a boyfriend over Christmas before, we both agreed we'd spend Christmas day with our own families. The chocolate in the photo above is one of the things he got me along with a Lacoste perfume and a new hoodie. I look forward to spending next Christmas with him too.

This is the amazing Christmas dinner my mum cooked, yes there a five stuffing balls on m plate, and she cooks every year and always does a great job. we had a lot of turkey sandwiches over the few days after Christmas.

I didn't make this into a long post because Christmas is over now and we're in January, but I still wanted to post about it.

My 21st

It was my 21st birthday on the 9th December and I am finally posting about it. I have been ill for over a month, constantly coughing, which is why it took me so long to get around to writing this. I was also a bit ill over my birthday as well which is a bit sad but I still had a great time. I celebrated over 3 days and I am so grateful to everyone who made it special.

On the Friday (day before my birthday) my boyfriend came over and we watched Supernatural for several hours till we had to leave to meet my friends. Most of my friends were busy or at uni still so I only met with 3 of them for food (one of them is technically Ben's friend but I'm stealing him). We went to wetherspoons since its my favourite place in the world and had some great food and drinks and a good laugh. One of my friends left at about 10 because she had work the next day so the four of us left went to a club. The Waterfront is a very casual club and the drinks are cheap too, plus they play great music which is why its my favourite place to go on a Friday night. Ben and I may have tried to set up our other two friends and it may or may not have worked (it was really cute) and I had an amazing night overall.

Saturday was my birthday and I actually mostly had a chill day with Ben and my parents. I was up at like 10 or 11 because id been out the night before and I didn't do that much. I had lunch and Ben brought out an amazing cake that his mum made me (she's amazing at baking) and then my sister arrived so I started opening presents and I got so many amazing things. My parents got me the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette which I've been wanting all year and loads of Marvel DVD's! My amazing boyfriend got me the most beautiful necklace and tickets to see Ed Sheeran next year! Later that day me and Ben went out and checked into a hotel then we went for an amazing meal at Bella Italia and he looked after me because I was starting to feel really ill (my cough was playing up a lot).

Then on the Sunday my dad picked us up from the hotel and we had my whole family over for a buffet which my mum done an amazing job with. I got so many amazing presents and lots of money. I felt really overwhelmed with how wonderful the people in my life are and so grateful to have them all there celebrating with me. My parents got me a special cake which looked incredible and represented me really well.

I had the best 3 days celebrating my 21st and now I'm looking forward to Christmas!

November Favourites

It's that time again, end of the month. I've been ill quite a lot this month so I apologise for the lack of posts this month, but I'm finally on the mend now. So here is my November favourites for you all to enjoy!

First up is Taylor Swift's new album Reputation. I really love this album and I've been looking forward to it for ages. I cant really pick a favourite song from it but I really love New Years Day and This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things. Taylor has upped her game with this album, I've always liked her music and I loved how she's progressed as an artist and this album is probably my favourite.

Before recently I had not even heard of Lunar, but now I really love it. I signed up for a free sample and since then they've messaged me several times asking if I'd like to try out some of their other products for free in exchange for a review. Which of course I said yes to! This is their Moisture Setting Spray which is amazing because as someone with dry skin I have to be careful with what I use on my skin and it keeps my makeup in place all day. I love all the products of theirs I have tried and I will be doing a separate post about Lunar at some point in the future so stay tuned for that.

Justice League came out recently and so of course I went and saw it as soon as I could. I loved it so much! Wonder Woman was amazing as always and I loved the character dynamics and the humour. The story line was great and I fell in love with all the characters that I didn't already know. The only thing I will say is that it was slightly predictable with the return of Superman and also towards the end you can kind of figure out what's going to happen. But it was still an amazing film, one of my favourite DC films!

I have already talked about this product as I got it in a beauty box (you can check out my post about that here) I just really love it so I had to have it in my November favourites. Its the Nip + Fab Dragons Blood Plumping Serum. Its so great for my dry skin, it leaves my skin so hydrated. It doesn't irritate my skin since I have such sensitive skin which is great and it also smells really nice. This is a product I will be buying more of for sure.

That's all for this month, I'm sure there will be a lot more next month since I'll have my birthday and also Christmas! Although that may mean I wont have as much time to post as its such a busy month for me, especially since it will be my 21st, but I will try my best.
